Pür Minerals 4 in 1 mineral powder

Pür Minerals 4 in 1 mineral powder

I really like the packaging on this product - it’s compact has a good size mirror in the lid and it’s really sturdy. I hate flimsy packaging on products like this but Purminerals have got this right. It comes in a great selection of shades, The shade I have is Light and it’s a great match for my complexion.

This powder covers like a dream. It builds up quickly and covers every blemish, imperfection and pore leaving your skin looking like it’s been photo-shopped, It gives great coverage without looking powdery at the end of it, it’s incredible. It works as your concealer, foundation, powder and SPF all in one and makes a great base for your blusher and highlighters too.

More than a mineral foundation, 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation is a natural mineral makeup concealer, powder and SPF 15 protection all in one. The cornerstone of the Pür Minerals line, this mineral makeup foundation is pure mineral pigment ground to the smoothest texture and bound with organic shea butter and vitamin E. This full-coverage mineral foundation is good for your Skin.

Pür Minerals are the brand to watch, I've tried a few of their products recently and can't fault them, if powder isn't your thing then try their CC Cream it is amazing! I will definitely be trying more products in the future! If you want to try this brand you can buy them online or from your local  Marks and Spencer  beauty hall for £24.00.

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser was released in Asia earlier this year and Now it has popped up in the US. I'm really hoping that it comes across the pond to the UK, reviews have dubbed it a dupe for Smash box & Benefit's porefessional primer, so I really have high hopes for it, If it is anything like the baby lips it will be fairly priced.
Translucent gel primer blurs the appearance of enlarged pores, lines and other imperfections to create a matte and flawless canvas for makeup to glide. Mattifying formula keeps skin feeling and looking fresh with a baby soft feel, improving the staying power of your foundation while creating the look of a more refined and smoother skin texture..

  • Bye bye pores one second away from poreless baby skin!
  • On contact, translucent gel melts on skin and instantly erase pores, imperfections, lines and creases.
  • Skin looks instantly transformed into a perfect smooth canvas.
  • Skin is shine free, even and baby smooth for all day.
  • No burden to skin.
  • Mistake proof.
  • No mirror need.
  • Does not clog pores.
  • So light, you forget it's on.
  • How to Use:
  • Apply all over face or on concerned areas.
  • Suitable for all skin tones and types.
  • Pack Size - 22ml

  • Release date TBC.

If you really can't wait to try it, I've found a site HERE, that sells it for £10.00 with free P&P to the UK.

Make an impact with Marvelous MoxieTM Lipstick. Creamy, super-saturated, ultra-pigmented colour glides on like butter for full coverage in a rich satin finish. Lips look fuller and more voluptuous. All the while, an encapsulated vitamin A, C and E complex helps to deliver antioxidant defense, so you're ready for anything—and everything.

These have a creamy texture with a feather light formula that glides onto lips with a buttery texture but the pigment of a full coverage lipstick. They have a shiny finish so lips appear fuller after application and the hydrating formula created with Abyssinian Oil and Omega Fatty Acids keeps lips baby soft and smooth.

Moxie Marvellous Get Ready* is a lovely neutral rosy pink shade, that looks great with a smokey eye or a simple day look, highly pigmented & easy to apply, I really have enjoyed trying it out. Urban Decay Naked Skin ultra definition pressed Finishing Powder

Urban Decay Naked Skin ultra definition pressed Finishing Powder

It’s the next evolution in Naked Skin. The powder with the World's longest name!..... Designed to be virtually invisible once applied, our high-tech, jet-milled powder has an insanely silky texture that feels amazing on your skin. Optical blurring pigments instantly minimize imperfections, diminish shine and create a stunning soft-focus effect that looks professionally retouched.

Unlike powders that leave skin looking chalky or cakey, Naked Skin Finishing Powder gives you a radiant complexion and NATURAL-looking Naked coverage. It feels like silk on the skin, so soft & creamy.

The packaging is a gorgeous gunmetal and champagne custom compact it is lovely looking, it even has a Naked-embossed push button. The top compartment includes a full-size mirror, perfect for on-the-go touchups and a separate compartment underneath holds the applicator sponge. When you’re done applying, just slip the case into the pretty carrying pouch to keep it protected in your bag.

The colour 'Naked Light' is a perfect match for my skin & gives me a flawless finish, I usually use the sponge to dab the powder where I need it, then I blend the powder in & out over the rest of my face with my RT powder brush. It has pretty good lasting power on my face, I can get a good 7-8hrs of shine free face.

Soap & Glory Love at first Blush

Soap & Glory Love at first Blush

Love at first blush by Soap & Glory is a gorgeous mix of colours that can be worn separately as a shimmery eyeshadow or all together if you swirl your brush over the whole pan, giving you a stunning rosy highlighted blush.

The skin-smoothing emollient base and encapsulated metallic shimmer pearls deliver instant chic for the shabby cheek. This blushing powder gives a gorgeous rosy glow & beautifully luminous skin.

I really like using S&G's Love at first blush* as the colour is lovely & natural, it also applied like a dream with hardly any blending required. Not forgetting the amazing packaging, that always look pretty in your collection.

The colour comes out as a lovely light rosy pink and, depending how much you load up on your brush, can be as subtle or pigmented as you like. It has an amazing sheen to it that just brightens up your face.

I found that it lasted a fair few hours on my cheeks - about 6/7?, Which I think is pretty good going as blusher doesn't always lasts to long on me for some reason so I was impressed with this.

    Maybelline Quad in Coral Drama

    Maybelline Quad in Coral Drama

I have viewed this palette from afar looking at swatches, Umming & Ahhing as to one I need it & two if I'll use it but when I was browsing eBay & came across a brand new, sealed one for £3.55 including postage, instead of its usual £7.19, it was in my basket & paid for before I had chance to change my mind! Once I had it in my hands I am so glad I bought it, the shades are lovely & perfect for this time of year.

As you can see, the colours are all very shimmery and metallic, the colours are pigmented, creamy and A great combination of colours. They are great colours for Autumn/Winter in lovely rusty bronze shades, There's a shimmery cream colour, with the hint of gold in it, which warms it up, I use this for a highlight on my brow bone and in my inner corner of my eye. The gold shimmery colour I used all over the lid, and put the bright light coral colour at the outer corner of my eye/in the crease. The final dark burgundy colour I use on the outer corner. This would look great on any eye colour but I particularly like it with my blue eyes it really makes them pop!

    What Maybelline say..
    • Rich colour. Smooth feel.
    • Innovative formula with silk pigments creates the ultimate shadow texture and luminosity. Illuminate – Sweep lightest shade all over eye using wider side of applicator, from lash line to brow bone. Blend – Apply second shade across full lid; using tapered end of brush, add shade to lower lash line for depth. Emphasise – Sweep third shade from inner corner to middle of lid. Contour – Line darkest shade on upper lash line with tapered end of brush for added intensity.
Overall I am really impressed & will definitely snap some more up at this price, I would pay full price for another but prefer a bargain & will be stalking eBay for other shades.
